JJ's Got a Big Ole Mouth

Like you hadn't figured that out already..

But my friend Christy over at My Mad Mind (AKA the blog formerly known as I'm Just Sayin') has a widget that tracks just how big my mouth is, and I got this award for it:



It may very well be the first time my loud mouth has gotten me something good.

I'm a Douche-canoe, but a Rockstar One..

I got awards.. like 3 of them, but my email ate them before I could post them and I can't figure out where they were from.

I'm not really sure I qualify for anything with the word "sweet" in it, but I still love it..

3 Things I love about me:

1. I'm honest with myself. As in brutally. I know that my ass looks fat in these jeans. Really I do. And I tell myself the truth, even if I don't like it.

2. My hair. It's a pain a lot of times and doesn't always look great, but for the most part it will do anything I want it to.

3. I'm an awesome friend. No conceit intended, but I go out on limbs for my friends and happily inconvenience myself for them (ok, sometimes not happily, but I do it and usually without showing them how pissy I am about it).

This is hard because of my whole not posting pictures of the fam thing..



I am not in this picture.. But that's Bean doing the twist at a wedding right about the time we first met.

I love this picture because it helps me remember how he was before his body betrayed him. And of course I miss that, but it's not what makes him who he is.

Plus, he looks hot.

Aunt Crazy gave me TWO awards!!
If you don't read Aunt Crazy, you really should and I'm feeling all kind of like a rock star because she even knows I exist, because she has a crap-ton of followers and she's just AWESOME!!

And Johnny Depp who would never ever give me funny looks when I say weird shit, because really, he has no room to talk..

1. What is the silliest prank you ever played on someone? Hmmm.. this is actually kinda hard because I'm not really a prankster.. But I have convinced people that I was my own twin before.

2. If you could take a trip anywhere out of the country where would you go? Why? Oooh.. London, or just England in general really. I want to see all the historical stuff, because I am actually that big of a nerd.

3. Who plays the most influential role in your life? Probably Bean or maybe my cousin, Connie.

4. Are you ok with your significant other being friends with an ex? Yes, and he is. I don't really get the whole insane jealousy thing, it irritates me.

5. Favorite candle scent? Dreamsicles

6. Next movie you're excited about seeing? Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - November, baby!!

7. You must ban one word from the dictionary and all usage, to be no longer uttered or written. What word do you ban? Vagina. Really - who decided that the name for female parts should be called a word that sounds so gross.

8. Do you have any relatives in jail? Yes, sadly. But they're like 3rd or 4th cousins - I'm not really clear on that whole degree of cousins thing.

9. What crazy fads were popular when you were a teenager. Socks pulled all the way up your calf, with short/skirts. And, embarrassingly, the whole saggy pants thing started when I was a teenager..

10. Have you ever been mentioned in a newspaper or on TV? I don't think so. At least not a real newspaper, I was one of the editors of my high school and college papers.

As for my blogging philosophy, motivation and experience:

1. I try to blog with HONESTY. I don't post things that I don't believe (at least for the moment).
2. I blog because I need THERAPY, and putting everything out there is very theraputic for me.
3. I try really hard to be POSITIVE, though sometimes that's not possible.
4. I also blog because I think everyone should know they aren't ALONE in their insanities.
5. My experience is that putting things out there gives you some PERSPECTIVE.

I got an Award!!

This is so cool!! I got a blogger award from my good friend Miley of Woman Confused .. Her blog is actually one of only two that I read regularly, and you have no idea how excited I am about this whole thing. Thank you!!

So apparantly there's a whole process involved, and you're supposed to:
1. Thank the person who gave you this award.

#1 - is covered, but I'll cover it again just because - Thanks Miley!!

#2 - 7 Things about me (and this part is a little dicey, because as far as I know only 2 people read my blog, and they already know just about everything about me - oh well, I guess we'll review anyway):

1. I get bored really easily. Usually this translates into hair cuts & colorings, or maybe some rearranged furniture. But occassionally it gets a little out of hand.

2. I hate little yippy dogs, even though I own one.

3. I have stuppendously bad luck. Like the epic kind. I'm one of those people, that if I touch it, it's bound to be screwed up in some way. I've never even won $1 on a scratch-off.

4. I'm a little fanatical about personal hygiene. I think it's because my ex-husband showers twice a month (almost literally).

5. I am certifiably insane. I see things that are not there (like cats walking on the top of my cubicle at work), and sometimes I think that I'm a giant (which I'm not at 5'5").

6. I like sex - alot. I'm one of the abnormal women who want sex more than their husbands. And my husband has a very healthy libido.

7. I have some issues with over-sharing. I like honesty, but occassionally I forget that not everyone wants to know if they look fat in that dress, and they also didn't really want the answer to the question they just asked. I have trouble answering simple questions, like "How are you?"


#3 - Again, I have a few issues with this, because I don't actually read alot of blogs, but I do love the only blog besides Miley's that I read..
