Happy Anniversary

I'm not sure why exaclty, but I'm refusing to turn 30 today.

Bean calls it the First Anniversary of my 29th birthday. I'm okay with it.

I think maybe it's because I'm good here.

At 29 I'm married to the love of my life. In love with my children. Have the friends that I've always dreamed of and more or less at peace with my life.

Or at least I have found better peace than I ever thought possible.

Yes, I'm good here. I don't need to move on.

Or at least not yet.

Happy Birthday, Cara!!

I've never been really huge on July 4th, it was my dad's birthday, and as I've said before, he was kind of a jackass.

We never really did anything for it, and I guess that's just my habit now..

But -

Today is also my friend Cara's birthday. She's amazing and is going to be a new mommy in October.

So happy birthday, Cara!!
